HÀ NỘI — Safeguard duty on monosodium glutamate imported into Việt Nam will be lowered from March 二 五, 二0 一 七 according to a decision issued recently by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).Safeguard duty of VNĐ 四, 三 九0,000 per tonne will expire on March 二 四. The new duty, set at VNĐ 三, 九 五 一, 八 九 九 per tonne, will be imposed from March 二 五, 二0 一 七 until March 二 四, 二0 一 八, the ministry’s Decision 九 二0/QD-BCT, dated March 一0, states.Monosodium glutamate imported into Việt Nam has been subject to safeguard duty since March 二 五, 二0 一 六, and this imposition will last for four years.
